Diary of a Student-Teacher #Week4Day17
What do you do when certain occurrences are just out of your control? well, for me I just stop worrying and do what I can while leaving the rest to God.
I woke up this morning with a bit of relief and excitement ready to go to school. Unfortunately, after I had taken a shower, dressed, eaten, and taken my medication, I felt a bit lightheaded and could not move. My dad had to beg me to rest at least for an additional day to regain my strength before I resume teaching. I obliged and went back into my room.
I slept all through the afternoon but later had to step out to grab a cup of parfait from Eni Stores since I could barely have an appetite for food. luckily, I met a friend while at it and we talked, laughed and took pictures.
Since I usually go for home tutoring on Tuesdays, I decided to head over there. Since I wasn't so strong, I tried as much as I could to take the lesson slow and steady.
After the class, I also met with an intending client who wants me to coach his child. it was an amazing session meeting with him and his son who is called Joiddy — Actually, his name is coined from his parent's names. Sweet right.
Well, I will be coaching him in the next 2 months, so you see why I can't be sick?
Lastly, I discovered this evening that I have developed Haemorrhoids — well, it’s not actually diagnosed yet but I need to visit the Doctor to be sure and to get treatment for it time. That means I will need to be in the hospital again tomorrow! Pheew!
Well, despite everything I have been through these few days, I still believe that I am strong enough to get through this and in the end, I will be just fine.
No matter what you face in life, never ever forget that there is always light at the end of the tunnel.
See you tomorrow!
