How relieving it is to get through the day without thinking that there is a lecture I am missing or exams I need to prepare for. Come on, don’t give me that look. I love to attend lectures and I enjoy reading, it’s just that when everything comes at once it seems to leave me disorganized.

Today, I had six of my colleagues officially join me at our place of assignment. Actually, I was the only one who resumed last week despite the examination. My colleagues were just wondering how I did it. But well, when you are passionate about something, you would not mind the stress.

We were allocated classes and yes, I got to continue in the class I started with initially; Nursery 1.

I was excited to keep on teaching in Nursery 1 because I am already used to the kids. Actually, the main reason I decided to keep on was because of my 4-year old. I need to continue there so as to finish what I started. Besides, the kids were already used to me.

Also, I was with an acquaintance today when I shared with him how much I never knew I could love teaching pre-primary section until I resumed my teaching-practice. In fact, Pre-primary was totally off the section of kids I would normally like to teach, but from nowhere, I suddenly developed a passion for it.

I don't know what I would call that, but I’d say God knew exactly what I needed and he gave it to me. Tell me what is more fulfiling than that.

Guess what? I thought it was only my 4-year old that needed some extra attention. Well, I just realized today that another kid needs even more.

I am not sure how old she is exactly but definitely either 5 or 6 years. She does not know how to write at all. Even if you hold her hand to write a letter and then releases her to write alone, she won't be able to. Her handshakes instead. I had a brief conversation with her teachers today and I got to know that she has been like that since she started schooling. It is at this point that I realized thee child needs special attention.

I can't really spot out what sort of special need is hers but I am already looking it up.

Towards the close of school, I called her to where I sat and decided to take another approach in helping her write the letter “A.” it was difficult at first but I helped her at least write letters “A” and “B” by herself for the first time.

Sincerely, I hope her parent will look closely at her and take a decision that will help her learn in the most appropriate way suitable for her. As for me, I will keep doing all I can to help.

It's been a really long day and I hope yours went well?

Meanwhile, I got the most exciting feedback today, check it out below

A message from one of the young persons I motivated to stay on the path of teaching.

I am so glad that I could motivate someone to stay on the path of teaching.

I totally enjoyed today’s class and I hope you have read through the various series.

See you tomorrow!
