A photo of me outside my school’s Cafeteria.

Today was entirely different.

I missed going to my assigned school because the examination that was slated for 11:30 am was shifted to 8:00 am and then when I arrived at school, the examination was no more 8:00 am but the original time. Unfortunately, I had already waited around for over 2 hours before I got the information. It was annoying and frustrating.

Nevertheless, I wrote my examination successfully and I later went for my home tutoring engagement.

Let's say, this was the only Student-teacher experience I had today.

Some of you may not know and some already may know, I recently launched my homeschooling and online tutoring agency called Bees Learning Hub and I also serve as a tutor there.

Today, my student was amazingly responsive. I don't know if it is because I had told him I was in no mood to be stressed.

This is however in contrast to our encounter the previous day when he surprisingly broke into tears when I asked him to write and all effort to make him stop crying proved abortive. At that point, I was totally clueless on what to do. We really did not learn much that day. At a point, I thought it was some sort of mood swing as he kept saying “Leave me” when I asked him to write. But I tried not to be too compelling.

At that point, I was in one of those situations where I absolutely did not know what to do. I am sure a lot of teachers have experienced this a number of times in their classrooms. If you are a teacher reading this, kindly share your experience and how you dealt with it.

I am grateful today was different and our class was interactive and productive.

Although I missed going to my place of assignment, I am sure I did not miss too much as tomorrow is another day!

I cant wait to share tomorrow’s experience with you all.

Don't forget to share, comment and clap.
